INTERNET VIA SATELLITE Sky 2 Net is using state of the art satellite communication technology based on Shiron Satellite Communication LTD and IDIRECT equipment that is the most advanced and flexible equipment in the market. For such services Sky 2 Net sources Satellite Hubs in Israel, USA, Denmark and Greece. Sky 2 Net service Africa on C-Band through ABS-1, PAS-4 and AMC 12 Satellites and Ku Band through Eutelsat W3A, the Middle East on Ku - Band through PAS-4 , Hellas II and NSS 6 Satellites, Asia on ext. C -Band through ABS-1 B Beam satellite and coming shortly through Thaicom 5 Satellite (Ku and C-Band). All Sky 2 Net customers are connected via satellite to the hub and from the Hub directly by fiber optics to 1 Tier backbone. Sky 2 net is providing direct access from each remote station to the backbone or Star Typology (point to multipoint structure) or multipoint to multipoint -Mash Typology. Sky 2 Net is providing VPN services, Firewalls and Anti Spam equipment. Sky 2 Net has authorized installers in the main Countries in Africa ,as well, distributors. |
